Summary
Kings Bay Park is one of the easiest public launch points for exploring Kings Bay, the spring-fed waterway in Crystal River. It’s a small but well-equipped city park with a kayak/SUP launch (including a handicap launch), picnic areas, a playground, and docks for fishing and daytime tie-ups. It’s also a common starting point for paddling routes toward Three Sisters Springs, Hunter Spring, and Kings Bay’s underwater spring vents.
Because of its central location and easy launch setup, the park can get busy, especially during manatee season and peak tourist months.
